Cinnamon muffins

Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup sour cream

TOPPING
1/4 cup butter, melted

cinnamon mixture
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1 Tbs. cinnamon

Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Mix in vanilla. In another bowl whisk together flour, baking powder and salt. Mix it gradually into the wet mixture, alternating with the sour cream. Bake at 350 degrees for 17 min.

Let cool for 5 minutes, then dip in butter and then cinnamon mixture.

Yields approx. 16 muffins

Variation: Bake as a cake in a 9 by 13 pan. (Cook for 20 min). Spread melted butter then cinnamon mixture on top.
